Proud and Loud: Disability Art & Music Showcase
Proud and Loud: Disability Art and Music Showcase is a new, multi-arts experience for everyone that affirms that the opposite of "oppression" is "expression"! Come help make a community mural and enjoy performances by dancers Ladonna Freidheim, Hana Javed, Robby Lee Williams and Alexis Smith, musician Victoria Boateng, performance artists Rachel Singer and Cherlnell Lane, plus music by composers with disabilities and music by West-side youth performed by the Crossing Borders Music String Quartet! The mural-making is led and the program curated by Chicago artist and Disability activist Genevieve Ramos. All are welcome; come and join the fun! ASL provided.

Colombian Independence Day Celebration
Tierra Colombiana Dance Ensemble will be celebrating independence from Spain. We will have live music, folkloric dances, food, vendors and community organizations with information for the community. Fun for everyone!

Join WTTW Kids for "Be My Neighbor Day," a free family event that celebrates what it means to be a caring neighbor. Enjoy hands-on activities, free educational resources, visit with community helpers, and meet Daniel Tiger and Donkey Hodie!
Slobbery Summer Spectacular Drool Party

Koz Park CAPS Meeting
Meet your local police officers! Join us Thursday, May 21 from 6:30 to 7 pm at the Koz Park fieldhouse to meet with your local CAPS representatives. Find out what's going on in the neighborhood, raise any concerns you may have, and get to know your local police officers.

Koz Park CAPS Meeting
Meet the beat! The Chicago Police Beat 2524 CAPS meeting will be held at the Koz Park fieldhouse on Thursday, April 16th at 6:30 pm. Come out and meet your local police and learn about what's going on in your neighborhood!
Koz Park Youth Soccer League
Koz Park's Youth Soccer Program begins the week of April 6th. Spaces are still available for your kid, 7 to 12 years old, to learn basic skills and how to be part of a team. Go to ChicagoParkDistrict.com to register.

March Dog Park Clean Up
Join us and help clean up the dog park so our furry friends have a tidy place to play and socialize. Bring a broom, rake, or dustpan if you can. We'll provide the gloves!
Mobile DMV Event
Koz Park is hosting a Mobile DMV event on Friday, March 6, from 10 am to 2 pm.
We're partnering with Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, State Senator Graciela Guzman, Alderman Anthony Quezada, and Cook County Commissioner Jessica Vasquez to bring several services directly to the community. You can stop by to handle Real ID applications, driver's license renewals, state IDs, license plate stickers, and organ donor registration.
Please note that appointments are required for DMV services.
In addition to the DMV services, we'll have representatives on site to help with:
- I-PASS registration (Illinois Tollway)
- Unclaimed property (State Treasurer's I-CASH)
- Utility bill assistance (CEDA)
- Voter registration (Chicago Votes)
Park Advisory Council March Meeting
Join us on Thursday, March 5th at 6:30 pm upstairs in the Koz Park fieldhouse. We'll be planning our free spring events and working on our new Community Partners Program to help support programming for the 2026 park season. Meet your neighbors and find a project to support your neighborhood park.
Pulaski Day Happy Hour
Meet your neighbors and toast Polish-American hero Casimir Pulaski at Central Park Bar at 2924 N. Central Park on Monday, March 2 from 5 to 7 pm. Enjoy half-price drinks until 7 pm, pizza provided by the Koz Park Advisory Council, and then stay for Bar Bingo at 7 pm.

Rebecca has been the Park Supervisor at Koz for over 20 years, and now she's moving over to Eckhart Park. We presented Rebecca with this hand-painted sign to remember us by. Koz PAC at the Park Advisory Council Conference
Members of Koz PAC attended the Park Advisory Council Conference on January 17. We always learn something new at the PAC conference and enjoy meeting members of other PACs from around the city. PAC Secretary Ronnita Dumas also got the chance to speak with Mayor Brandon Johnson! Thank you to Director of Community Engagement Maria Stone and General Superintendent Carlos Ramirez Rosa for organizing another insightful conference.
